What is the difference between developmental editing and copyediting?

Developmental editing strictly focuses on the big-picture elements of your manuscript, including plot, structure, pacing, character development, and theme. Copyediting focuses on the clarity, accuracy, and consistency of your writing, reviewing grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
How long does the editing process take?

Edits are usually completed within 3-6 weeks, but turnaround times may vary depending on manuscript length and my current schedule. You will receive an estimated completion date before the start of the project.
How will we communicate during the process? Can I ask questions after receiving my edit?

Communication will be handled through email or text, depending on your preference. You are welcome to contact me with any questions throughout the process, and I will do the same.
Yes, you can always ask follow-up questions after receiving your edit, free of charge.
What platform do you use for editing?

I primarily work in Google Docs and Microsoft Word. Feedback is provided through the suggestion mode on Google Docs or Track Changes and comments in Word.
